I met Sarah, Isaiah, and Micah out at the Ice Age Trail head just a hop and a skip from my house and we took a few photos of the three of them at this precious stage in their lives. I was ooo-ber impressed with how great Sarah looked considering she is 38 1/2 weeks pregnant in these photos! Doesn’t she look amazing!?!

**Update** Thomas Evan Kooiman was born on 8/31/11 at 2:59 pm. 7 lb, 15 oz. 21.5 inches – everyone is healthy and doing great! Stay tuned for his newborn session! **

The Bull in Sheboygan Falls is a beautiful golf course, and the girls got ready in the clubhouse. I loved the detail of Amy’s dress, it was absolutely gorgeous! Around her flowers on the right, Amy added a charm of her parents on their wedding day as a tribute to her Dad who passed away. It was very sweet detail and a great reminder of his presence with her on this big day

Amy and Brian opted for a first look, and it was a great moment between the two of them!

We then used the time before their ceremony to take photos. We always love when clients do this as it makes the day much more laid back and easy going!

On the right, Amy’s butterfly tattoo matched the theme of the wedding – how neat!

It was then time for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony, everything was set up just perfectly! When Amy was escorted down the aisle by her brother, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house – it was a beautifully bittersweet moment for everyone, and her brother sure was proud to do the honor!

The officiant lightened the mood with a pretty funny joke. Since the Bull has a great patio overlooking where the wedding ceremony was taking place, there were people sitting up on the deck, and down on the grass where the ceremony was. He said it was his first “double decker” wedding ever! Too funny!

I’ve been M.I.A over the past many months and have neglected to post for quite along time. I’ve been posting periodic updates on Facebook so I hope you’ve been following along there with me! I have been a little bit busy with a new addition to our family – Emmaline Jane was born on May 13th, and between being a mommy and working, updating my photography blog has took a little bit of a backburner.

I knew it had been a while when I took a look on my home page and saw the one year old session of this little cutie:

And I just did a maternity session with his momma last week and he looks all grown up, and is ready to become a big brother!

Holy smokes, time flies!

So, here I am, back in action. I’m working on a few post right now of a few sessions I have done over the summer, so stay tuned and thanks for your patience!

Here are a few of my favorites from their day. The couple had expressed that they just love black and whites, so you’ll see a few more here than you normally would – it was a fun, creative challenge to do something a little bit different with my editing.

We started off in a condo where everyone was getting ready, it was a lot of fun!



Gina and Luke decided for a “first look”, it was a really cute moment!

We then headed out around the Osthoff for some photo fun!





Their ceremony was held lake-side, and I loved the star fish accents! And not to mention the light was just fabulous!

Luke also surprised Gina with a song, just for her…


Then it was on to celebrate!
