The Art of Toddler Photography

The light is shining ever so softly over the couple’s shoulders as they kiss and all seems right in the world. The wedding party perfectly walks in unison and cheers as the newly married couple kisses. There is an element of control that I like… or if I’m more realistic….ehm… LOVE… about wedding and engagement photography.
But then….. oh but then dear blog reader… there are toddlers.
Let’s just say that you don’t have any once of control. Not even a speck.
Sure, they’re cute – REAL cute. But you could get this toddler face:

But then, just then, the whole universe aligns and one cutie little toddler looks your way:
And you don’t care one ounce that you’re not in control, because this moment is simply beautiful.
And suddenly, you’re ready to chase a toddler all over Olbrich Gardens all over tomorrow for a chance to capture it again.
